Notas de amor

My son keeps one of these notes in his backpack pocket and pulls it out at lunch when he's missing home. The messages are short and sweet, which works better for him than long paragraphs he'd skim.

I tuck one of these into my daughter's lunchbox every morning and she's started collecting them in a little tin by her bed. The messages are simple enough for her to read on her own, and I've caught her repeating one to herself before a test.

My son isn't much of a talker about his feelings, so leaving one of these on his pillow before school has been our little bridge. The short, positive messages are just the right length for him to actually read and sit with them.
